IF THE SHOE FITS
One time I went to the shoe shop because I desperately needed new shoes and I was immediately drawn to a beautiful pair that was on the floor, near the benches where people typically tried on their potential shoes. To this day I still remember how they looked like. Gorgeous wine red heels with open toes and stunning gold ankle straps.Next to the heels was an empty box for shoes and there was no one in sight. For some reason I presumed that someone tried on the shoes, it didn’t fit them and out of laziness they didn’t put the shoes back inside the box and simply left it on the floor for the staff to clean. I immediately tried them on and as cheesy as it sounds it was love at first sight. I took the heels off, put them inside the box and went to the check out to purchase them. As the lady scanned the box I suddenly heard a woman from a random shoe isle yell: “Someone stole my shoes!” describing in detail how the shoes looked and you guessed it… she was talking about those red heels that I liked so much. I have never felt so mortified in my life.
AND THAT’S HOW I MET MY SOULMATE…
When I was still going to college I had a ridiculous crush on a really cute guy. We didn’t have the same classes but we would always see each other in the library. Back then I was really shy so I was really scared to approach him. It took me about two weeks to actually find out what his actual name was. One day when I was in the library I decided to go on Facebook to search him up. I typed in his name and last name but it wasn’t showing up. Suddenly I heard someone say behind me “You spelled my name wrong.” To my embarassment it was the guy who I had a crush on. Now 6 years later I can proudly call this guy ‘my husband.’
